My first crystal singing bowl

I got my first crystal singing bowl, an 8" classic frosted bowl with a G# tone from Crystal Tones. This tone is associated with what is known as the zeal point and is on the back of the neck, about halfway between the third eye and throat chakras.

I'm actually surprised at how easy it is to play and it sounds very nice. The box it arrived in was very big compared to the bowl and contained lots of packing peanuts. I even got some free incense with it, which was a nice surprise.

I was I could say my experience with the company was as good as the product. Their website's certificate expired, which did not make me feel safe ordering online, and I felt the representative that took my order was a bit pushy in trying to sell me more than I wanted. I would also have preferred that they connect their website database with their inventory so you actually know what is in stock.

Review of Healing Crystal & Tibetan Bowls by Danny Becher

I've owned Danny Becher's Healing Crystal & Tibetan Bowls CD for a few months now and am pleased with my purchase.

The CD consists of three tracks:

  1. Root to Heart Chakra

  2. Heart to Crown Chakra

  3. Sacred Body

The first track works on the first 4 chakras, the second track on the next 3, and the last track goes through all 7 chakras. The CD is very relaxing to listen to. I've brought the CD to work to listen in my office and I've found that I feel very calm, which is saying something considering how stressful things have been for the past year.

I'm in the process right now of getting a crystal singing bowl right now and will share my experiences here later on.

Bruce Manaka and the Healing Power of Sound

In the following video, Bruce Manaka talks about how sound can heal the body, mind, and spirit. He also takes some time to play a crystal singing bowl, and even though this is a recording, the sound the crystal singing bowl is still powerful. Crystal singing bowls are based on Tibetan singing bowls, which are generally made of metal, but are crystal instead. If you've never the sound that comes from a crystal singing bowl before, you're in for a real treat.
